PLAYER INFORMATION

The 2020 Australian Ladies Classic Bonville is a co-sanctioned Australian Ladies Professional Golf and Ladies European Tour event and will be played over 72 holes stroke play at the Bonville Golf Resort.

Registration

All competitors must register in person at the Tournament Office during the following times.

■   Monday  17 February: 9:00am – 5:00pm

  • Tuesday 18 February: 9.00am – 5.00pm

If you are not able to register in person prior to the deadline of 5:00pm Tuesday 18th February you may register by phone by contacting Emily on the number below.

Any player who does not register by the deadline of 5:00pm Tuesday 18th February will be taken out of the

tournament field and will be replaced by the 1st reserveThe Championship Committee reserves the right to waive this condition in special individual circumstances.

DRIVING RANGE/PRACTICE AREAS

The Driving Range will be in operation at Bonville as follows:

Monday: 7.00am – 6.00pm.
Tuesday: 7.00am – 6.00pm.
Wednesday: 7.00am – 6.00pm.
Thursday: 5:45am – 7.30pm.
Friday: 5.45am – 7.30pm.
Saturday: 1 hour before the first start time – 18:00.
Sunday: 1 hour before the first start time – Final Tee-off.

Note:

Preference is to be given to those players with approaching tee times and MUST be given to those players remaining in the tournament.

2020 AUSTRALIAN LADIES CLASSIC BONVILLE PRO-AM

The Pro-Am will be played at Bonville Golf Resort on Wednesday 19 February. Each professional will be accompanied by three amateur players.

The Pro Am Draw will be available on the ALPG website on Monday 17 February. It is the players’ responsibility to confirm if they are required to play in the Pro Am.

The Pro-Am will commence via a shotgun start at 8.00amAll players (including professionalsare required to register at least 30 mins prior to the start time at the registration area in the Clubhouse.

The competition played will be as a Texas Scramble format. Nearest the pin and long drive prizes will be confirmed at registration.

All professionals competing in the Pro-Am are required to attend the presentation Luncheon which will be held immediately following the completion of play from approximately 1.00pm.

CHAMPIONSHIP DRAW & CUT

The draws for Rounds 1 and 2 will be available on the Australian Ladies Classic, ALPGLET websites by 5.00pm on Tuesday 18 February and will be posted on the notice board located at the tournament office.

156 competitors will be competing during the Rounds 1 and 2 with the competition conducted using two tee starts for Rounds 1 and 2 with a mirror draw for Round two.

36-Hole Tournament Cut

The lowest 60 professional scores after 36 holes and any tying for 60th place plus amateurs, will qualify for the third round, the remainder shall be eliminated.

Draws for Round 3 and 4 will be seeded and available at 8.00pm (estimated time) on Friday 21 February (for Round 3) and Saturday 22 February (for Round 4).

Should there be no weather delays, the championship should be completed by 2.30pm.

GOLF FOOTWEAR

Players are requested to note that Bonville Golf Resort prefers players to not wear metal or traditionally designed golf spikes on the course.

TICKETS

Each player will require their ALPG or LET Membership Card for entry to the Course/Clubhouse and one Clubhouse Car Park pass for your own use.

PLAYER’S CAR PARKING

Car Parking at Bonville Golf Resort will be available in the Clubhouse Car Park designated by the car park pass provided.

PLAYER’S LOUNGE & MEAL VOUCHERS

A player’s lounge will be available to players during tournament week.

Located in the upper level of the Clubhouse, access to this area is restricted to players only with entry via ALPG or LET Membership CardThis must be presented to security staff at the entry to the Player’s Lounge.

Please note that family/friends and/or caddies are not permitted entry to this area. Due to the costs associated with this operation, the complimentary provision of food is restricted to players only. Golf NSW, ALPG, LET and Banville requests players to respect this service accordingly.

Passes to the Player’s Lounge for a player’s guest can be purchased for $80 for the duration of the tournament. These can be purchased from ALPG.

Within the Player’s Lounge, a light breakfast will be available from 6.00am to 10.00am and Lunch will then be available from 10.30am – 3.00pm each tournament day (Thursday 20 – Sunday 23 February).

CADDIES

There is no need for any player to have a caddie during the tournament. A limited number of caddies will be available on a first come first served basis.

Exception: Any players in the final six groups in Rounds 3 or 4 MUST have a caddie.

CADDIE UNIFORMS

Caddy bibs must be worn by your caddie and will be issued at the 1st and 9th tees. Caddy jackets will be collected at the 8th and 18th greens at the conclusion of each player’s round. To avoid unnecessary spiking and wearing of the greens, caddies are NOT permitted to wear spiked or ripple soled shoes

YARDAGE BOOKS & PIN PLACEMENTS

Yardage Books, in metres and yards, will be available to purchase at the ALPG / LET office on Monday and Tuesday.

Pin placements will be provided by the official starters on the 1st and 9th tees on all four days  of  the Championship.

RULES REFEREES

Roving LET and Golf NSW personnel will be available to assist with Rules queries. If you require assistance , please ask your nearest volunteer to contact ALPG, LET or Golf NSW.

SLOW PLAY

Slow Play procedures will be in accordance with ALPG Tour Guidelines as set out on the ALPG Tour Terms of Competition which will be available at official starters on the 1st and 9th tees. Copies will also be available from  the ALPG Tournament Office.

SCORECARD RETURN

During the Championship all completed scorecards are to be returned to the Scorers area located on the upper level of the Clubhouse.

PLAY OFF

In the event of a tie or ties for the Championship, unless the Championship Committee determines  otherwise, play shall continue over the 18th hole repeatedly, players being eliminated hole by hole as they fail to maintain equality with others until the winner is determined.

PRESENTATION

The presentation will take place on the 18th green immediately following the completion of play. The winner,  runner up and leading amateur will be required to attend.

FIRST AID

First Aid Services via Golf NSW will be on site throughout the tournament days and located in the Clubhouse.

TELECAST

The final round (Sunday 23 February) will be broadcast on live television. Network TBC.

ON COURSE DRINKS

Water will be provided to players, caddies and volunteers during the Australian Ladies Classic.

To remove single use plastic bottles from the tournament, water stations (filled with ice and water) will be placed around the course and players will be provided with a reusable Golf NSW drink bottle before their first round.

BUS SERVICE FROM BONVILLE GOLF RESORT TO DUBBO GOLF CLUB

Players will be able to utilise a bus service from Banville Golf Resort to Dubbo Golf Club. The service will leave

7am on the morning Monday 24th February, arriving in the mid-afternoon at Dubbo Golf Club.

The bus service will be provided to players at a cost of $50 per trip for a player, their clubs and luggage. If a player wishes to have their clubs only sent via the bus service, the cost will be $20 per trip.

Dubbo does have an airport located in town, however only regional flight services operate to this region. In many cases, golf clubs and other large suitcases do not always arrive on the same flight as the planes are  not equipped to carry large amounts of cargo. The distances to drive to Dubbo from major cities/airports are listed below:
